Government Degree College, Seethampeta was established under RIAD in April 2007. It is located in remote sub plan area of Srikakulam District. It comes under Palakonda Revenue division. This college caters to the needs of tribal, downtrodden students of this area. Earlier students from Battili, Kotturu, Bhamini, Seethampeta Mandals commute by bus to Government Degree College, Palakonda. Now this college addresses al their problemsEarlier it was run in the premises of APTWR, Junior College, Seethampeta. Now we can run college in new furnished campus.

Now we can run college in new furnished campus. Besides this there is separate hostel facility for boys and girls very near by. Our emblem designed in such a way to reflect our college ideals.
